Impact and evidence
Measured on our own platforms.
Not estimated after the fact. Evidence built into the way we invest, support and learn.
Planning targets
Targets by 2031
Impact targets are planning assumptions to be validated during the 2027 set-up phase, not results achieved.

How we measure
Platform-generated data
Every metric is generated by platform transactions or by surveys at the start of an engagement and 24 months later.
Global standards
Data is sex-disaggregated from day one and aligned to IRIS+ and the 2X Challenge.
Independent verification
An independent assessor verifies the 100% women mandate each year, and that verification releases half of the manager's carried interest.
Results are published annually and shown live on the investor dashboard.
Investor dashboard access is available by enquiry. The framework summarises the supplied planning and measurement commitments.
The evidence we build on
Savings-group evaluations by IPA and J-PAL show gains in business outcomes, resilience and women's financial inclusion; the missing ingredient has been growth capital. Luma Circle's anonymised dataset supports an academic research programme on women's collective entrepreneurship in Africa, led by our CEO's doctoral work, so that what we learn in the field returns to the field as evidence.
